PAT is here to provide you with all the information you need to help your child grow!
Cathy Borgmeyer has been a parent educator since 1994. She received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Biology in August 1970 from Lincoln University. She helped set up the first kindergarten in the district and taught kindergarten for many years. She also taught first and second grade combined at Meta Elementary School. Mrs. Borgmeyer has four children and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Borgmeyer’s schedule varies since she does home visits every day, where she checks the development of the child and helps parents to be the best they can be. She also does screenings and refers the child if there is an issue. It is an wonderful job which she dearly loves. Home Visits
Personalized home visits by a certified Parent Educator specially trained in child development and eager to give your child a head start!
Group Meetings
Group meetings and parent/child activities where you can join with other parents as you gain insights and discover more about your child's development. Some popular sessions include Messy Night, Baby Basics, and Literacy events.
Screenings
Developmental screenings offer parents a quick and effective way to look at how their child is learning and growing in the areas of physical and social development, health, vision and hearing. Screenings are free and private.
