CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FATIMA BASEBALL TEAM FOR MAKING THE FINAL 4! THEY WILL PLAY HALLSVILLE ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 29 AT 7:00 IN O'FALLON AT T.R. HUGHES BALLPARK (HOME OF THE RIVER CITY RASCALS). IF THEY WIN THEY WILL PLAY AT 1:00 IN THE AFTERNOON ON THURSDAY, MAY 30 IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. IF THEY LOSE THEY WILL PLAY AT 10:00 IN THE MORNING ON THURSDAY, MAY 30 IN THE 3RD PLACE GAME! Pep buses will be offered on both days, but students must sign up in the high school office before noon on Tuesday, May 28. We must have 25 kids signed up to take a pep bus. The cost to ride the pep bus will be $5 for Pep-Club Members & $7 for Non-Pep Club members. There will be no summer school classes Mon, May 27. The last day of summer school is Thurs, June 20. The Spring Athletic Banquet is Sunday, June 2nd, 6:00 PM at the KC Hall, Westphalia.

Congratulations to the Fatima Comets Baseball Team on their Quarterfinal win over Maryville.

Orders for Final Four T-Shirts will be taken through 2:00 PM Friday in the High School Office. Late orders will not be accepted. T-Shirts are $8 each. Payment is due when you order. T-Shirts are expected to be delivered to Fatima Wednesday.

Band: All students who are going to be in High School band must attend BAND CAMP. Drum Line Camp will be 22-25 July and Band Camp will be 29 July - 1 August 2013. All CAMPS will be held in the band room from 5-7:30 PM.

Free Nutrition Class: The Osage County Health Department and MU Extension will be starting a free monthly nutrition class. These classes are open to anyone and everyone! The first class is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4th at 6pm and will be on how to be more physically active. Participants will receive a free water bottle, pedometer, and will be entered to win a drawing for a pass to LSTC Activity Center! To attend the class, you must call the health department (573 897 2139 x312) to reserve your spot. The class will be held in the county annex building in Linn (205 E Main Street).

TECHNOLOGY FUNDRAISER: We are now participating in the FundingFactory Recycling Program. This is a FREE program that allows schools and businesses to collect used electronics and cartridges in exchange for cash (used for technology equipment).

Ms. Bax will have a collection box in her office where parents, students, teachers, and businesses may drop off their used electronics and cartridges. Businesses may also register with the FundingFactory and select our Organization ID (304697). In doing so, they can receive FREE shipping boxes and labels. When they register with our ID and ship the boxes, we will receive all points from the electronics they ship to the FundingFactory.

All shipping costs associated with the returns are FREE. However, businesses (if doing the registration option) must be sure to utilize one of UPS regular shipping and pick-up times or else it will cost extra.

In the attached qualifying list of products, you can see how many points each item is worth. Our school district’s goal is to earn at least $10,000 or 25000 points. With the help of all school members, patrons, and businesses, we can reach this number.
